Mailing-list privacy notice

A Seat at the Table, organised by Ife Taiwo-Newman, collects your name and email address when you choose to join the mailing list. We record when you consented, the wording you agreed to and your subscription status.

How your details are used

We use your details to manage the mailing list and send the emails you requested: priority event booking, curated dinner invitations and community updates. We rely on your consent for these emails. Joining does not book a ticket or guarantee a place.

Storage and access

Subscription records are stored in our hosted website database, using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Contact details are available only to the organiser through protected administration tools. The organiser may export the list to manage these emails. We do not sell your contact details. Hosting providers process data to operate the service and may process it outside the UK.

How long we keep your details

We keep your subscription while you remain on the list. If you unsubscribe, we retain a limited record of your email address and opt-out so you are not contacted again by mistake. We may remove inactive records when they are no longer needed.

Your choices

You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link provided with mailing-list emails. For help, correction, access or deletion requests, contact Ife through our Instagram page. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
